Come and experience the way a Victorian home would have been decorated for Christmas.
From Tuesday 26th November the D.H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum will be decorated in an authentic Victorian fashion giving you the chance to step back in time and see the differences and the similarities to how we celebrate at home today.
For the younger explorers among you we will also need your help! Recently a number of naughty elves have been causing mischief all around the museum. Take part in a FREE elf hunt and let us know what those pesky elves have been up to so that we can tell Father Christmas when he comes to visit and he can catch them all!
Normal museum admission prices apply. Please note that children and Broxtowe residents (with proof of address) are free.
While you are at the museum why not visit our FREE Winter Wonderland for loads of fun Christmas crafts and on Saturdays from 30th November until 21st December Father Christmas will be setting up his Grotto so that you can make sure he knows what presents you want (£4 per child)!
A visit to the museum is also a good place to find great Christmas presents…Father Christmas gets loads of his when he comes to visit!
