Celebrate the start of the festive season in Eastwood with lots of magical activities to get involved in. Tuesday 26th November from 6.00 pm-8.00 pm along Nottingham Road, Eastwood.
With Arts and Crafts on Scargill Walk to Charity Stalls outside Eastwood Library there is something to do along the whole of Eastwood Town Centre.
Be enchanted by the Magical Christmas Fairy at the D.H.Lawrence Birthplace Museum. You can see her between 6.00 pm- and 8.00 pm. Let her know all your Christmas wishes to pass onto her good friend Father Christmas. While you are there you can enjoy a glass of Mulled Wine and a slice of Traditional Christmas cake. As well as getting a chance to have a look around the gift shop for some beautiful one of Christmas gifts.
Whether you’ve just started your Christmas shopping or just need a few extra pieces, you’ll be sure to find something you love at the arts and crafts fair. Just outside the museum on Scargill Walk and outside the Crafts Courtyard.
Jump on the land train and take a ride up Nottingham Road. You can get off just outside Iceland and have a go on the fair rides and grab something warm to eat and drink from the food factory.
Further down, on Eastwood Square, outside the Library, will be a number of charity stalls to go say hello to. As well asthe main stage where you will be able to watch performances from local choir groups and bands. The headline act this year is the energetic five piece boy band, The Jaxx. They will follow after the official light switch on by the Mayor of the Borough of Broxtowe and the Mayor of Eastwood.
