Come and see the beautiful Christmas Fairy in her enchanted grotto and ask for your Christmas wishes to be granted – she’s good friends with Father Christmas!
The Fairy will be in her grotto from 6pm-8pm and while you wait to see her there will be Victorian comics to keep you entertained.
After you have seen the Fairy visit the ground floor of the museum, which will be dressed up for the festive period just like it would have been for the Victorians.
For the parents among you there will also be free mulled wine and cake made to a traditional Victorian recipe! You might even find some Christmas presents as the museum’s gift shop is a great place to find unusual gifts including traditional toys and one off pieces by local artists.
