Stapleford Christmas Lights Switch On

Specsavers presents ‘Christmas in Broxtowe’ in conjunction with Broxtowe Borough Council and Stapleford Town Council.

On Saturday 25th November join the festive celebration at Stapleford’s Annual Christmas Lights Switch On Ceremony. There will be a stage on Victoria Street Car Park with plenty of entertainment from bands, singers and choirs to get you in the festive mood. There’ll also be Children’s fun fair rides….so get those children screaming with laughter! And of course there’ll be food, drink and gift stalls where you’ll find the perfect present and tasty treat.

Lights Switch On Ceremony

The Christmas Lights Switch On Ceremony is at 5:30pm by The Christmas Tree in the Walter Parker VC Memorial Square. The lights will be officially switched on by the Mayor of Broxtowe Cllr Halimah Khaled, the town Mayor Chris Rice. Afterwards stay and watch Stapleford illuminate the sky with a selection of fantastic fireworks starting at 6:30pm.

Golden Ticket

Take your kids along to visit Santa from 10:30am-6pm (located next to the Christmas Tree) for their chance to win the GOLDEN TICKET. The lucky winner will countdown the fireworks at 6:30pm
