Get in the festive spirit at Stapleford Christmas Lights Switch on. With Santa’s grotto, arts and crafts fair, live music and much more magical moments for you to enjoy.
Saturday 23th November from 4.30pm – 6.30pm on Walter Parker VC Memorial Square and Victoria Street car park.
Visit Santa’s grotto on Walter Parker Square and receive a goodie bag, inside there is the chance to receive a Golden Ticket. The lucky Golden Ticket winner will have the opportunity to go on stage to start the official light switch on countdown.
What’s more, you can see all the arts and craft stalls and charity stalls on Victoria Street car park. The perfect place to find that perfect gift for someone special. Keep an eye out for the famous Nottingham Legend, Robin Hood and The Sheriff of Nottingham as they pay a visit to Stapleford for the evening. Moreover, don’t miss the street performers around the town centre, they will be sure to amaze!
See some fantastic talent on the main stage from local choirs and school performances. As well as the headline act, The Frandells. At 5.30pm the Lights will be switched on, on the main stage with The Mayor of the Borough of Broxtowe and the Mayor of Stapleford. Alongside them will be the Golden Ticket winner, as well as Robin Hood and The Sheriff of Nottingham.

Please note the lower part of the Victoria Street Car Park will be closed all day for the event and there will be a Road Closure in place on the lower part Victoria Street from 12pm- 9pm
The event is organised by the L Leisure events team, with support from Stapleford Town Council, Stapleford Community Group, Artandcraftfairs.org and Meadow View Glamping.
