The D.H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum is hosting Home Cooked Heritage, an exhibition looking at the recipes that have inspired generations of Nottinghamshire cooks, from Tuesday 28th January – Saturday 18th April.
During each week of the 12 week run of Home Cooked Heritage the museum will present a new recipe, taken from the exhibition, for visitors to collect and take home to try for themselves.
Then on Saturday 18th April, the final day of the exhibition, the cooking gets serious! A local professional baker has agreed to create some of the sweet treats featured in the exhibition so we can discover exactly how these recipes are supposed to taste!
Come along between 1pm and 3:30pm to taste a little bit of Nottinghamshire history!
