Find time to reset and recharge at our free health and wellbeing day being held at Kimberley Leisure Centre.
Increase your sense of wellbeing and boost both your mental and physical health through our classes and workshop. We’ve got a mix of different sessions suitable for all abilities and ages; including a children’s Pilates session.
There’ll also be a chance to talk to our fitness team about everything we have on offer at our centre and how we can help you improve your health and fitness.
Our timetable for the day:
- 11am – 12noon: Pilates Age 16+ (18 spaces available)
- 12noon-12.30pm: Refreshment break (Studio 2)
- 12.30 – 1.30pm: Stretching and recovery workshop Age 16+ (18 spaces available)
- 1.30-2pm: Refreshment break (Studio 2)
- 2 – 3pm: Les Mills Virtual Body Balance. Suitable for ages 14+ with an adult (20 spaces available)
- 2 – 2.30pm: Children’s Pilates for age 8 -15 (12 spaces)
- 2.30 – 3pm i-Gym for children age 8-15 (12 spaces)

Want to know a little more about our sessions?
A body conditioning series of exercises that help lengthen and stretch all the body’s major muscle groups. It can help increase flexibility, strength, balance and body awareness. It also helps improve concentration, manage stress and promote relaxation.
Pilates for children:
Specially adapted for young people. Pilates helps develop good habits for life; from increased flexibility, strengthening the body, correcting posture and even improving concentration.
Stretching and recovery workshop:
Learn how to stretch effectively in this practical session and help recover and prevent injuries.
Les Mills Body Balance:
A yoga-based class that will improve your mind, your body and your life. The class is a Yoga, Tai chi, Pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength. It will leave you feeling centred and calm.
A dedicated fully supervised space where youth fitness is combined with some of the latest gaming technology to engage, introduce and educate young people into becoming healthier and more active.
The session will include some gentle moves so please wear comfortable clothes you can move freely in.
