FAQs for Spa at Bramcote – Relaxation of Covid19 Restrictions, 19th July 2021

We have worked hard to ensure we can open the Spa to make it as safe as possible for our customers and meet the need to maintain adequate Covid safety including the key area of ventilation.  We understand that there are restrictions and limitations to the opening up of the Spa and will continue to review how we operate all of our facilities to ensure we achieve the correct balance between customer needs and the need to maintain appropriate a Covid safe environment.  Thank you for your ongoing support and understanding.

The Spa will reopen on Wednesday 21 July

What are the opening times?

Mixed Sessions

Monday: 8:00am – 9pm

Tuesday: 8:00am – 9pm

Wednesday: 8:00am – 3pm

Thursday: 8:00am – 3pm

Friday: 8:00am – 9pm

Saturday: 8:30am – 4.30pm

Sunday: 8:30am – 4.30pm

 

Ladies only: Wednesday 3.30- 9pm

Men only: Thursday 3.30- 9pm

 

Bank Holidays: 8:30am – 3.30pm

 

What is the price of the Spa?

The Spa is included as part of our gym memberships or you can attend on a pay-as-you-go basis (£6.50 per hour).

Do I need to book to use the Spa?

Yes. All sessions are bookable for an hour on a time specific bookable slot, you can access the Spa any time during your booked time slot, however, once the session has finished you will need to vacate the spa area.

Why is the Spa closed for half an hour after each bookable time slot?

The Spa area is being left closed for 30 minutes to allow for changing, you should shower during the hour booked time slot, and for us to open the doors to allow for ventilation of the space to support the reduction of the spread of Covid.

How long can I stay in the Spa?

Each session is 1 hour long.  You can drop in and out of the Spa anytime within your booking hour, the booking slot includes changing and showering so don’t leave it too late to drop in. The changing rooms will remain open for 15 minutes at the end of each session.

Can I stay for more than one session?

You can book more than one session each day but you will need to leave the area after each session to allow for the ventilation process.

Can I get changed in the Spa before my booked session, train in the Gym or go swimming, then attend my booked session in the Spa?

Unfortunately, not.  You will need get changed for your other activities in other changing rooms.  Then at the time of your booking you will be able to go in the Spa.

Will I need to wear a face covering?

We are encouraging our staff and customers to continue to wear face coverings while in and around the leisure centre.  Face coverings are not required in the Spa however we would encourage all our customers to continue to follow general hygiene guidance and maintain social distancing where possible.
