Easter Activities at the D.H. Lawrence Birthplace

Stuck for what to do with the kids during the Easter holidays? If you’ve already been to see Beauty & the Beast a dozen times, and had your fill of the swings at the park, why not try one of our free activities?

It can be really difficult to find affordable activities to keep them happy and entertained at this time of year. Especially finding things to do involve eating lots and lots of chocolaty Easter Eggs!

At the D.H. Lawrence Birthplace we are offering some free Easter craft activities in the shop area for local residents and passers-by, all for absolutely free!

Our first activity is decorating a hard-boiled egg with a range of marker pens or stickers, whether you draw a bunny rabbit or a Star Wars character – it’s up to you!

Next you can make an Easter Garland to hang up at home. We also have colouring sheets available for really little ones, so they can get involved too.

For little ones visiting the museum on our guided tours, we’ll keep you entertained with our Bunny Trail. You will be taken around the Victorian house with one of our experienced guides who’ll tell you all about the things you see, and will help you spot the tiny multi-coloured bunnies in the museum! This activity can only be offered as part of our standard guided tours of the D.H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum. For admission prices and up-to-date tour times, check out our website by clicking here…
