Sauna And Steam Room

The Sauna and Steam rooms at Bramcote Leisure Centre are the perfect environment to unwind and relax and your workout.

2 x Swimming Pools

Bramcote and Kimberley Leisure Centre have three and two pools respectively with a full programme of dedicated swim sessions including lane swimming, swim fit sessions and Aqua Aerobics. Junior Gym

How long am I signing up for?

We do not operate a lock in contract; all we ask is 30 days’ notice to cancel a membership.

What age restrictions apply to the memberships?

Adult memberships start at 18 years and our junior memberships are ages 11-17.

How quickly do I get my membership card?

If you have completed the sign up process online, you will need to inform reception on your next visit that you have signed up online and they will issue you with a membership card.

Do I have to provide proof of concessionary or corporate discount?

Yes, we ask that you provide the relevant proof of discount to take out a concessionary membership.

Can I bring a guest?

Yes we offer an option to buy a day pass to allow access to the gym, classes or swimming facilities. We also offer a free 1 day pass to try out our facilities.

Why do you ask for an email address when I join?

It is useful if you provide us with an email address so we can send you information on your membership and keep you updated on news about our centres.

Can I freeze my membership?

Yes you can freeze your membership for a minimum of three months, at a cost of £5 per month. Simply ask at reception.

How do I cancel my membership?

All monthly payable memberships are subject to 30 days written notice of cancellation; click here to fill out the cancellation form. It is also your responsibility to cancel your direct debit with your bank.

Direct Debits

What date will my direct debit be taken out?

For memberships taken out from the 1st to the 15th of the month payments will be collected on the 5th. For memberships taken out between the 16th and end of the month payments will be collected on the 20th.

Can I change the date my direct debit is taken out?

No unfortunately you’re unable to change the date.

Can I defer my start date?

Yes. This must be done at point of sale.

Do I have to pay the joining fee if I cancel and re-join at a later date?

Yes, therefore it may be more cost effective to freeze the membership if you intend to return shortly.

Who do I contact if I have any issues regarding my direct debits?

Can I set up a direct debit from my bank account to pay for a membership for my partner, friend or child?

Yes please visit your preferred Leisure Centre to fill in direct debit instructions where we will be able to process this for you.

Why do I have to make an additional payment once I have entered my direct debit details?

Your first direct debit will not be taken until the next month. The additional payment is to cover the first month of your membership and the joining fee.

How will the direct debit payment appear on my bank statement?

It will show as Liberty Leisure Limited for memberships from 1 August 2017. All sign ups prior to this date will show as Broxtowe Borough Council.

New to the Gym

What should I wear?

Wear a good pair of supportive trainers and comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily. Swimwear must be worn for all wet side activities including the spa.

What should I bring?

You will need to bring your leisure card to show to reception or swipe in at the kiosk on every visit. You should also bring a water bottle as it is important to keep hydrated. Please also bring a towel to wipe down equipment after use.

Where should I go?

If it is your first visit please ask at reception to be directed to the right place. On every visit please  swipe in at reception for your activity or at Bramcote Leisure Centre you can also use the fast track kiosk.

Do I need to bring my leisure card?

You will need to show your card to reception or swipe your card at the fast track kiosk to use the facilities.

Do I need an induction to use the gym?

It is highly recommended that you have a gym induction so that you know how to use the equipment. Inductions can be booked at any stage during your membership and are FREE, Book here or ask at reception to book.

How long do gym inductions last?

Sessions last up to an hour. Your fitness advisor will ensure that you are confident to use the kit independently.

What is a Gym programme / plan?

Our trained Fitness Advisors will design a tailored gym programme to your aspirations and goals.

Will the gym be staffed?

Yes we have fully qualified Fitness Advisors in our gyms. They’re there to help with any  questions or queries you have. They are also on hand to help with your technique, to ensure you are excising correctly and safely.

What are Youth Exercise Sessions?

Youth Exercise Sessions are dedicated sessions when children under 16 can exercise safely with a Fitness Advisor present.

Do you provide changing facilities?

Yes we provide changing facilities with showers at all three of our Leisure Centres.

Do you have somewhere to secure my valuables?

Yes, we have lockers that accept a £1 coin that is returned when you have finished using the locker.


Do you have parking?

Yes we have free parking at all three of our Leisure Centres.


Can I book online?

Yes. We have an Online Leisure Booking system where you can book and manage your class bookings via our website. We also have an App where you can check timetables and book classes.

How far ahead can I book?

As a member you can book up to 8 days in advance.
