As you will already be aware, there have been ongoing conversations about the future of Kimberley Gym & Swim, and unfortunately as a result the facility will no longer be available for public use following 31st March 2024.
We wanted to take this opportunity to write to you to say a sincere thank you for your continued support. Over the past 50 years, it has been our privilege to welcome so many people from the local community in to the centre and play a part in contributing towards their overall health and happiness.
With the planned closure of Kimberley Gym & Swim we have been exploring ways to still continue to provide a health referral programme within the immediate area of Kimberley. We have been talking to various partners, looking at alternative venues to host the programme, and liaising with our health referral clients to understand the activity offerings that you would like us to provide.
Due to the scale of this task, we have not yet reached an agreed solution on the path we are able to progress with moving forward. However, we aim to come back to you within the next two weeks with a confirmed solution so that you have more clarity on the offering moving forward.
