If your resolution is to master, improve or learn how to swim.  At L Leisure we offer swim lessons for all ages, for babies through to adults.

Swimming is a low impact sport which means it is very gentle on your joints. This makes it suitable for people of all ages, including the elderly.. It is also a full body workout, and uses all the muscles in your body.  It can be a great way to maintain a healthy weight, healthy heart and lungs. You could get involved by completing your NPLQ Lifeguard and Swim England Teaching qualification. We also offer a very successful Swim Volunteer Scheme; which provides a pathway from volunteer to qualified swimming teacher. You can find out more about our opportunities here.

Being able to swim, having the knowledge, skills and confidence in and around water could be life changing. Swimming is the only sport that could save your own Life and for this reason we rate it our top priority for giving swimming a go!  We never know what challenges life might throw our way and when faced with a difficult situation how we might react.
