It’s that wonderful time of year again: Children in Need!
It’s that wonderful time of year again… No not Christmas, Children In Need!

Children in Need is such a fantastic charity! Raising money for children in the UK – what a great cause! The money raised helps the lives of disadvantaged children and brings so much joy and happiness. You only have to watch some of the videos on the BBC on Friday night to see how! People often forget that some of the projects funded are right on our door step.

Bramcote Leisure Centre has been raising money for Children in Need for the last 6 years. The first year the site raised more than £1,000!! Customers love the ‘Customer Vs Staff’ challenge each year! Last year saw the customers win for the first time! This year the staff are raring to go and we want our title back! Some of the staff have been training hard running half marathons and swimming the channel. Others have been on an all-inclusive holiday (Me).

This year the battle will be a Spin-a-thon to see who can travel the furthest. There is also a site challenge between Bramcote, Kimberley and Chilwell’s customers and staff. There isn’t anything better than a bit of in-house competition.  No prizes, just bragging rights for a year!

If you think you have the pace to beat Sarah and Ang, or the stamina to break Dave and Cyd, come and have a go in the name of Charity!

Each centre has set their individual challenge so….Please, Please, Please join us on Friday 18th November!

8am – 8pm at Bramcote Leisure Centre – £3 per 10 minute slot.
